We are eager to welcome team members helping in many different capacities. This may be frontline with meal distribution or with cooking and preparation. We also need volunteers to help with collecting donations from our retail and restaurant partners and taking it to the cooks.
make a consumables donation
When distributing food we regularly give out toiletries and donations of soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, anti perspirant and many other items are welcome. We also need packs of water and many other consumables such as food containers, disposable cutlery, trash bags and much more.
Donate Bibles
If you have the means to donate Bibles then we would love to receive them. Many of the people we serve have faith and others are eager to learn. A Bible is a constant and trustworthy companion to those in need.
Our Mission
No matter who you are, or where you come from, everybody should be able to have at least one nutritious meal per day!
Our mission is to provide healthy fresh grocery distribution within underserved communities across Miami-Dade. South Floridians are facing an increasingly high cost of living and we are helping eradicate food insecurity for local families, single parents, seniors, homeless people or newly arrived legal immigrants. We are there to help provide for them regardless of their race, gender, religion or marital status.
Our community partners host our weekly food distributions, including Homestead Housing Authority and several places of worship. Our generous produce donor partners include Food Rescue, Wholefood Supermarkets, Publix and Chick-fil-A and many others.
We connect the dots by avoiding food wastage and getting it to people in need.
Reducing the estimated 40% food wastage in our community also helps combat climate change by conserving resources such as water and energy used for food production, processing, transportation, preparation, storage and disposal.
